While the eastern seaboard was getting pelted with huge amounts of snow and ice and California was getting drenched in much needed rain, 18 Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay HOG members braved the rain soaked highways and snarly traffic to stage at the local Travelodge Motel down the road from the San Francisco Airport the night before leaving for Honolulu. Renner, Rick G. and Gino headed up our contingency for the costume contest along with Julie, Megan and Michele competing for the gals….but alas….MBHOG contest organizers partied so hardy to the point of almost forgetting to have the contest until last minute; and by then; most members had gone home. It was almost midnight. But the dancing went on into the wee hours of the morning to the tunes of classic rock and roll songs dished out by the DJ. A great time was had by all.
